Every work made by Papilio is an original creation, entirely handmade. Textures, reliefs, drips, thickness of material and visible marks on the edges or on the back of the work are an integral part of the artistic process and of the story of its creation. These elements are not considered flaws, but a living and authentic part of the artist's work.

In accordance with the statutory withdrawal period, a return is possible within 14 days of receiving the work. It must be returned in its original packaging, with the same care and the same level of protection as on arrival. The work must be intact, undamaged and properly protected.

Return, packaging, insurance and shipping costs remain entirely the buyer's responsibility. The return must be made with a carrier offering insurance covering the exact value of the work.

After receipt and inspection of the condition of the work, a full refund will be issued, excluding the initial delivery costs and the return costs.

In the event of loss, deterioration or damage caused by the carrier during the return shipment, Papilio cannot be held liable and no refund can be issued by the artist if the work is received damaged. The buyer must then file a claim and a refund request themselves, directly with the carrier used and its insurance, and will be reimbursed through that channel, whether directly or not. If the carrier does not refund the parcel, or refunds it only partially, Papilio will not be held liable and will not be required to refund the full value of the work, should the claim filed with the carrier be denied.

If the work is returned with damage, marks, dents, tears, scratches, or damage caused by poor protection or insufficient packaging, part of the amount may be deducted from the final refund depending on the condition of the work on arrival.

It is therefore essential to make the return with a guarantee covering the actual value of the work. A standard shipment, without insurance or without an appropriate declared value with the carrier, will not allow a refund in the event of a problem during transit.
